Gargano and surroundings. Puglia, Italy

These are obviously two separate trips always at the north of Puglia.
the way to the Gargano is long and complex. SS16 a and then take the SS89 (Gargano said) and another main road. The two roads are steep, and curvilinear streets and for those with little familiarity of hairpin bends as we Apulian Plain driving is quite challenging.
Vieste is a beautiful town with a splendid sea and a beautiful contrast between Chile and the blue sea and white houses and narrow streets. San Giovanni Rotondo is famous for the shrine where lie the remains of Pio of Pietrelcina, the convent and the hospital built by Father Pio of grandeur that is constructive effective.
Finally Margaret subject of the second trip, the more easily reachable thanks to a SS16, not far from the regional capital (67 km) famous for its salt, its spa and its fine sand beach.
Manco sul Gargano there since 1991, to Margaret, I was often there, and we went back three years ago, the photos are in fact going back to that period.
