Budoni and St. Theodore the southern gates of the Emerald Coast

Nell 'organization of this trip I have made use of the information provided by the site
www.Budoni-santeodoro.com

Our journey begins at the southern borders of the territory of the municipality of Budoni. We are still in the territory of Posada and the long strip of fine sand and the beach of silver Orvile enjoy the view of the Castle of Fava. We'll leave it behind us and start, heading north, a long and pleasant journey that will take us to visit beaches known for their strong emotions to try to know who has the luck we can spend even a few hours. The first place you come to is that of Matta 'and Peru. A small cluster of houses located near of the beach. Here too the fine sand and crystal clear water welcome us. Beyond Matta 'and Peru meet the town of Baia Sant'Anna with small pebble beaches. The next step takes us to Porto Ainu with its sea-blue postcard. We come then to the country of Budoni that stands next to a stretch of coast that is characterized by a long beach of about 4 km. access points to the beach are different and here is enough to remember those in the area Sa Capannizza, Lido sun, Salamaghe. Then continue towards the villages of north meets Budoni best known, and which Agrustos Ottiolu. Particularly in the latter is the famous marina. Begins at this point the territory of San Teodoro. The beach called Isuledda, retostante with pond, is the first to greet us and also the first of many pearls encounter. And in fact, immediately after Cala d'Ambra, we reach the beach of La Cinta, the famous beach of San Teodoro. The tourist flow that covers this area is the most obvious symptom of the natural beauties that are the cause, and that especially motivated the establishment of the Marine Protected Tavolara and Capo Coda Cavallo. Budoni and San Teodoro are the southern gates of the Emerald Coast and now we understand why. After Puntaldia, the beautiful beaches of Lu and Cala Impostu Brandinchi. The latter even known as the "small Tahiti". contour to these beaches from other no less pleasant as Salinedda Bay, the beach of Capo Coda Cavallo and Cala Suaraccia. Finally, the last resort of San Teodoro and Juniper are Cala Cala Girgolu near which the famous rock with the shape of a turtle. We are now a few tens of kilometers from Olbia and here we pause and mentally retrace the steps of a journey of a thousand colors.
