From Bidderosa to Cala Goloritzè ... all the beaches of the Gulf of Orosei.

For this trip I used:

The beaches of the Gulf of Orosei are really many. From that of Bidderosa up to that of Cala Fuili are all easily accessible by car. Those of Cala Luna onward, however, can be reached by one of the many ferries that depart from the cove of Siniscola from Orosei, Cala Gonone from (fraction maritime Dorgali) or Santa Maria Navarrese (maritime village of Baunei). For those who want beaches can also be reached by land, by walking, which may vary from 2 to 5 hours of walking (see some of the routes proposed in Section Sports & Excursions Site www.golfodiorosei.net). The effort will no doubt be rewarded by spectacular scenery we will face.
The coastline of the Gulf of Orosei has as its main feature the wide variety of landscapes. Starting from the north coast begins in an articulate manner hid a series of small bays, covered with fine, silvery sand which forms the background a green pine forest: are the famous beaches of Bidderosa (including inside a forest park), Sa Curcurica, Juniper Cala, Cala Liberotto. In further subsequent stages are the small cove of Sas Linnas Siccas and haul Fuile 'e Mare which end the bottom of pink granite which is payable in addition to the' exceptional brightness of the seabed is also a rich range of colors of the surrounding landscape . From here, for about 7km to the jagged coastline is because of dark basalt lava flows perennially shaped and devastated by the force of the sea.
It terminates at its southern end the mouth of the river Cedrino. At this point, with the beach of Santa Maria begins a stretch of coast (approximately 4km) of up to Cala Osalla where the beaches are composed of long, wide strips of granite sand dune with (sometimes even two or three meters high ) and accompanied mostly by pine trees and a long pond.
From Cala Osalla onwards we find the beaches are only the terminal part of narrow valleys, open watercourses, including the findings that go right on the coast. From now on, in fact, the coast is divided into high cliffs and small beaches, mostly pebble such as those of Ziu Martine and Cala Fuili (last beaches reachable by car).
Continuing south, past the famous Grotta del Bue Marino, came to the beach of Cala Luna dominated north from the rock of Fruncu Nieddu and south from that of Su Masongiu.
After another 4/5km high cliffs overlooking the sea you come to Cala Sisine that unlike the previous set has the less curved face and goes inside with a triangle shape.
From here on the coast does not change its characteristics. Miles and miles of high cliffs interrupted occasionally by small coves. In particular, we point out the beaches of Cala Cala Goloritzè Biriola and with their characteristic arches of rock. Between the two creeks do not forget the note Cala Mariolu with its beach interrupted by huge boulders and shoulders high and inaccessible cliffs.
Finally, the term of the Gulf of Orosei is marked by high Capo Monte Santu between whose rocky start some long fjords, including the best known and Cuau Porto (Porto Hidden).
