I'm back to tell another trip ... even a trip I made today with my friend Lara.
We live in Sydney and we were never going to visit the park of stone carvings ... then we said ... we must go and so today we start at 11.00 in the direction of Head Bridge and approximately 2 hours drive we arrive. The park is easy to reach and well marked, and then the residents are willing to give you information on the various parking lots.
We left the car near the church and then a walk of about 10 minutes we found the entrance to the park.
This park is part of UNESCO, the first in Italy. The cost is 4 euros, will also give you a map and explain that the park is divided into five color-marked trails, we've made them all but the viola because it is not accessible.
The brochure lists the most important rocks and beautiful to see, for example. the No 50 to 23 to 35 and also 99 although on this ... we could not see graffiti unfortunately!
The park is agibilissimo, routes are not heavy and even children can easily do it. There are 104 engraved rocks and the oldest recording in the Neolithic age when the valley was inhabited by Camuni.
After about two hours and after many photos we decided to leave the park and we go at the issue, purchase a card and ask the clerk if he could tell us what to see around and showed us the park Nadro a few miles from there. In fact after 10 minutes by car we are in this small town where there is a place where you can park in front of you is the archaeological museum and here you are the tickets for the park. The ticket costs 3 euros and you can see three different areas: Foppe of Nadro; Campanine and Sottolaiolo.
We decide to see only the first because we wanted to go to a decent time ... and is the richest of engravings.
After walking for about 15 minutes you enter the reserve and even here there is an obligatory route to go, the rocks are not all numbered, but you will find information panels. We saw, finally recording that gave the symbol of our region, on No Rock 24! We are happy to have seen it.
The duration of the course varies depending on how you ... if you pause to see the good life rocks, I think, no more than an hour and a half.
Our day ends here ... after spending hours in the company of ancient rocks are thrilled!
Today, the park was virtually only two of us and if you can you should go to visit their week, so you can enjoy the peace of the park and even the sounds of nature.
On the next trip!
