Finally we managed to organize ourselves, and so today we find our friends, Silvana and Alfredo, in popular honeymoon.
The trip from Milan to Collecchio is fairly short and even if the weather is not the best does not matter, what matters is to spend the day with them.
Collecchio not have much to offer to a tourist, is now famous only for the well-known Parmalat affair, but our friends live in a quiet location in open countryside, the city is only a distant memory, seems to be back in time, There are more vineyards various crops, animals that run freely in the yard but the flavors are mainly those of a time and salami made from them is divine!
After lunch the sun was checked from behind the clouds, we are going to make a first trip to Torrechiara (Joint Langhirano) where we saw a magnificent castle on the hill that has a beautiful view towards the mouth of the valley towards the city. Then we went to Parma.that Mirko had never seen, classic trip through the center from Piazza Garibaldi, passing the Cathedral, Baptistery and the Old Spezieria to arrive at the Palazzo Ducale Ducale with the adjacent park.
Now it's up to our friends to come and visit us in Milan.
In Parma.certainly come back sooner or later, you eat too well in those parts ...
