Private property of the descendants of the current counts Roero, the castle stands on a hill and is undoubtedly one of the best preserved medieval castles in Piedmont.
It appears as a large square in outer allinterno there is a courtyard and large boardrooms: the armory, the hall of Shields and the billiard room.
The castle rises from the street and you can already see its grandeur and its good condition. The entrance is closed by a gate in the town. Few visits you can make reservations in advance and only in certain periods, for a fee.
Also enjoys a beautiful park / garden of green plants and flower beds. Monticello is a small nucleus in Alta Langa, near Alba, from the village you can see the crops below. Not far away a church and an ancient village in medieval style.
