Day 1: Departure from Rome at 14.30 on September 17, walk along the motorway Rome Civitavecchia Via Aurelia and then for a total of about 260 km from home, sleeping near Piombino
Day 2 18/09/2010: In the morning we get up around 8.00 and after preparing the bike, we go to breakfast and head towards Piombino, forty miles away, where we have the ferry at 11.10 € 77.00 Moby.Costo of the ferry passengers and two motorcycles. We arrive in Portoferraio after about an hour crossing, given the hours we stop for lunch and then take a walk to the harbor and the old town, which is worth another visit, with more time. At about 15:00 we head Capoliveri, a country where we got an apartment, right by the sea, situated in a grove, but really nice and relaxing, the name of the residence is "Detached house in the Woods", the rent cost € 60.00, no bad, took a minute on the internet, take possession of the apartment, we rest a while ', take a shower and then we decide to go around the country, which is very welcome, because it is a cute town, really a beautiful old town, rich clubs, pizzerias, pubs, shops, and despite the period, there were many people around, mostly foreigners.
Day 3 19/09/2010: we decide to walk to the beach near the apartment, about 1 km, namely that of Naregno, nice and quiet. We spend a relaxing day at sea, let the bathroom several times, the weather helps us, just as well see what the forecast said. Around 14.30 pm we go home, change ourselves and we do a sightseeing tour by bike and go to visit some beaches and Cape Pearl really beautiful, and the walls of Innamorata, located in a lovely location. Dinner with pizza Capoliveri in a room with a sea view, and 15 spent, not bad at all.
20/09/2010 Day 4: After breakfast, we go to the Coop Supermarket, Capoliveri, to buy something to eat, we go home to lay it all and head to Marina di Campo, along a scenic coastal road gives us an unforgettable sight, we stop at the beach of Lacona, beautiful, clean and calm sea, in a beautiful bay and near a green pine forest. The pleasant temperature, allows us to make several bathrooms. We stay up to 18 or so and then we went to Marina di Campo, parked the bike and do a walking tour through the village, old village of fishermen's cottages, restored and with a pedestrian area where you can walk safely. Around 20 we took the road home, and we expect at every turn of landscapes and breathtaking sunsets ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

21/09/10 Day 5: Today, no sea, unfortunately we get up in the morning and the weather is not great, but we do not lose heart, and we decide to do a tour in motion. The first destination is St. Hilary, near Marina di Campo, a small town in the hills, with quaint medieval hamlet. After having toured the country and had a coffee, take the road to Monte Perone, a narrow road with no guard rails bumpy, be very careful, we park the bike and we prepare to walk a path beautiful, marked by the CAI, which brings us to the top of a mountain where you can admire a landscape of rare beauty and where you can also see different types of butterflies.
We decide to eat the sandwiches we had with us at the top of the Mountain to enjoy the view as much as possible. After a little 'relaxation, we take the road home, back on the bike and go to Poggio, another really nice town, which deserved a more thorough visit, take another coffee in a picturesque square. We take the bike and we are going to Marciana Marina, a port city also this very nice and relaxing, have a nice walk, but suddenly the rain we recommend taking the road home (Portoferraio). We drive along the coastal road that goes from Marciana Marina Portoferraio and even here, yet beautiful landscapes, beaches and inlets that are worth a visit, hoping that the weather changes at best. 22/09/2010 Day 6: wakes us a ray of sunlight filtering through the windows, it's a beautiful day. We have breakfast, we leave early enough to go to the beach and then we decide to go for a coffee in Porto Azzurro, a village near Portoferraio, about 5 / 6 miles away. A village with a marina and situated in a beautiful bay. Take coffee, a little 'expensive cost, € 1.50, in bar harbor, we do a walking tour around the country, full of shops selling "junk", full of nice restaurants and pubs, and I ask my wife as it should be in the middle of summer, packed with people ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..
At about 10.30 we take the bike and go to the beach Zuccale, just below Capoliveri, a tiny bay, but beautiful, white sand and crystal clear water, as indeed we have found anywhere. The temperature allows us to make several bathrooms. We stay up at night to enjoy a fantastic sunset, wise decision, because it was beautiful, a sunset-colored and with a landscape suo.E 'dark when we leave, we wanted to stay the night.
