Check out the car 17/11 towards Naples, where my girlfriend's parents live. Arrival in the afternoon at 15.00 we decided to go downtown in the car because my girlfriend thrills me to know the enthusiasm of his city that loves in spite of everything. The weather is a bit 'wet, but this does not prevent us to take a ride on the seafront at the Castel dell' Ovo and take a coffee 'gallery in the city despite the weather and' still beautiful. In the evening we return to the suburbs to eat at his parents' house. Thursday '18/11 buy a ticket for € 3.10 that allows the use of subway and bus throughout the day, we descend into the center and begin with the visit of the Cathedral of the fourteenth century. with the chapel of St. Gennaro, then we head towards the district of San Gregorio Armeno, where we admired the beautiful statues of the most famous characters of the show and hand-made cribs which are unique to the end of the street we come across the beautiful church of S. Maria delle souls in purgatory from which it is facing can have a beautiful view of the district of San Lorenzo and San Gregorio Armeno. Just behind this church is' the entry of "Subterranean Naples", we decide to 9 euro to enter with a tour for an hour and a half we are shown a part of it, a network of tunnels and tanks used until the Second World War to collect water, then refuge during the war and finally as a dumping ground in the postwar years. Today they have been recovered and returned to their former glory, is the curious story of "munaciello. After leaving we went to the chapel of St. Severus (€ 7) of the sixteenth century. From San Severo chapel we go in sequence to the Church of San Domenico Maggiore, then to Portalba area booksellers and the Musical Instruments, Piazza Dante, and then to Piazza del Gesù its towering spire with a statue of the Immaculate virgin gold and copper in the beautiful church of Gesù Nuovo of the sixteenth century. Just overlooking the Church of Jesus' is the church of Santa Chiara Provence Gothic-fourteenth century. Sancha of Majorca wanted by the wife of Robert of Anjou and the cloister of St. Clare's always on the fourteenth century. decorated with majolica tiles depicting landscapes and rural scenes and mythological (entry € 5). Once out of the cloisters we go to the central area of the city where they are concentrated in just a few meters the Galleria Umberto I of the nineteenth century., Teatro San Carlo, Maschio Angioino (admission € 5), built by Charles I of Anjou wing end of the thirteenth sec., Piazza Trieste I try, the majestic and beautiful Piazza del Plebiscite where stands the basilica of San Paolo and the porch half elliptic. Opposite the church a beautiful palace built at the beginning of 1600, behind the square stands the picturesque district of Pizzofalcone. And 'now evening, people are busy in the streets of fashion (via Chiaia) and bars, we decided to go home to shower and get out to dinner on the waterfront at Via Partenope where we eat fried fish and great pizza! Veneda 19/11, heartened by a beautiful sun again regain a ticket for € 3.10 which includes all transport and Castel Sant 'Elmo's start with the fourteenth century. built by Robert d'Anjou and the Certosa di San Martino built by Charles of Anjou in the fourteenth century. and a wonderful example of Neapolitan Baroque. Leaving San Martino descend to the elegant district of Vomero, where the funicular down again toward the center of the city exactly in Piazza Municipio, then in front of Anjou Male, the gallery and the square of the Plebiscite. At 13 we get at the Teatro San Carlo, where a guide (5 €), we briefly outlines its history, built by Charles of Bourbon in 1737 and rebuilt after a fire in 1817 is the second most important in Italy after La Scala in Milan. After the visit we walk along the seafront by bus toward Via Caracciolo overlooking the sea where beautiful buildings in bright colors and then to the creek at the foot of the Posillipo Mergellina. Here we decide to get ice cream and stand for an hour on the pier to enjoy the warmth of the sun and take the opportunity to take pictures of the city with panoramic Castel dell 'Ovo and Vesuvius in the background, as well as the island of Capri. In the late afternoon we decided to go back to the center by bus, we visit the Piazza Garibaldi (the station), the Chinese quarter and the two old doors still visible, door and door Nolana Capuana commissioned by Ferdinand I of Aragon at the end of 1400, From here we pass the church of the Carmine and end with the visit of the Pizzeria "Da Michele", where since 1870 the pizza Margherita was invented and where it recently went even Julia Roberts. Return of Jesus through the square illuminated night in Piazza Dante, where we take the subway home, tired we won and we decided to have dinner with the parents of my girlfriend. Saturday, 20/11, the first solar day, and with the car we decide to tackle the chaotic traffic and walk through the city of Naples. We begin with the Museum of Capodimonte and its large park, a real green lung of the city and an outlet for the citizens of Naples, then visit the beautiful church of Capodimonte and pass in the district of Fuorigrotta to take a look at the San Paolo stadium, mythical reign of the great Diego Maradona. Then we go to solfatara Campi Flegrei Pozzuoli (admission € 6) where the Romans built spas and resorts here in an hour visit the entire site with its still very active geysers, bubbling mud and the central crater. We go out we take the car and we pass to Nisida, the small island of volcanic origin and now an imprisoned child, and we continue to Victory Square where you can enjoy a unique view of the city before going home to take a shower and return to center an aperitif in Piazza Vanvitelli in the Vomero with friends. We return home at 20 to finish our "vacation" with all my girlfriend's family having dinner at a restaurant in Volla seafood and pizza! What I want to emphasize is that the city of Naples for a tourist is well served, there are 6 metro lines and 3 modern funicular leading in all places of interest. The food is fabulous, inexpensive restaurants are also on the sea, is the delicious pizza, fish, sweets ...! Unfortunately, the downside is the rubbish strewn in the city (although almost all the sights are preserved) and especially the discipline of many of its inhabitants who do not meet a minimum of rules for a civil society, whether you drive a car or a motorbike helmet or throwing a card. Naples could really tell how the Neapolitans to be the most "beautiful world", but the complete lack of civic sense, such as not to deface the monuments in the city that is a heritage of the citizens themselves, will make this city not able to achieve its full potential and with more and more tourists who snubbed.
