San Vito is a location overlooking the sea around Polignano. The name is the patron saint of Polignano and it is this fraction that starts in June, the procession dedicated to the saint.
E 'unknown to those who do not live in Italy and, to tell the truth, even to the same pugliesi but it is absolutely advisable to spend. From the 16 adriatica just follow the signs to reach easily the monastery, built by the Venetians around 1700 and now virtually abandoned. The church is open only on public holidays but there is a restaurant-bar in the former, which can satisfy the needs of the magnificent tourist, let other premises in the immediate vicinity.
