Continue my discovery of the city of Naples and its Neapolitan ... the ideal turn you on Sunday because it is less noisy and messy than usual.

Again around the middle, starting from Corso Umberto, note the impressive Galleria Umberto I of late nineteenth century, built after the serious outbreak of cholera in 1884, a meeting place for many Neapolitans and shopping.

Continuing on you reach Piazza Trieste sull'ononima square where there is the seventeenth-century Church of St. Mary of Health and the fountain "on carcioffola" so named for its shape from Naples. Before heading to Via Chiaia an obligatory stop at the Café Gambrinus, of ancient origin bar opened in 1860, the favorite place for poets, painters, writers and playwrights. And 'here that D'Annunzio wrote the song dialect "A vucchella."

Upon returning a short trip to the "male Angevin (I've described in the diary above) I recommend the tour with the double-decker buses that leave from Piazza Municipio. evening dinner at the hotel .....
