The Medieval city

From the first morning it rained to divert around Lake Garda and the bungalow to stay in the lake was an accumulation of cold and moisture 'not just. I left to find a feasible solution in that rainy day gray and sad. A short distance from the campsite I found the sign for Sirmione, famous City 'on Lake Garda.
I found a parking in the square near the famous castle and I do not want to comment on the cost of parking (would have gone to dinner in a restaurant with this money ...), so I decided 'to visit the castle. A medieval castle in due form, for meta 'washed by the waters of the lake and meta' border with the mainland.
Sirmione is a beautiful town with picturesque narrow streets and frescoes, ancient palaces, medieval courtyards ... insomma a blessing for those who are fond of villages and history. A long climb brought to the spa overview and ancient ruins. The view from the top of the hill was breathtaking landscapes and immortalai those gray but fabulous.
On top 'le terme di Catullo, luxurious hotel with large, lush and verdant gardens, houses and villas of high society'.... The Grand Hotel Terme and Hotel Sirmione was a wonderful hotel located overlooking the lake, with rooms lake view and solarium equipped with sun beds and tables for the days of extreme sun ... even if that was not the day ...
When I returned in the center, after a tour to admire the windows of shops, approdai in a beautiful luxury restaurant and cozy. The menus' were divided into menu 'of the lake, menu' of the tasting menu and 'land. Chooses the last. A piattone of panzerotti the walnut sauce and lamb shank with potatoes could better satisfy my desire for food.
In the early afternoon, from the point of embarkation, taken the boat to circle the lake and although the day was gray, I could also enjoy the splendid views. The small villages perched on the hill overlooking the lake were all very picturesque and even stretches sporadically illuminated by a ray of sunshine. The port of Desenzano sul Garda era piu 'grande e piu' di Sirmione provided and the people expected to be able to embark. That boat was used by all normal means of transport to move from one country to another on the shore of the lake.
In most luxury 'of that unbridled approdai ancient village into a jewelry selling Swarowski, to make my purchase ... Sirmione wandering among the gardens and scenic walks past a small beach that summer was definitely ultilizzata tourists.
I was induced to leave the village only when he decisively rained incessantly, and after a stop in a bar in the center, decided to resume the road to move a. ..... Verona!
Verona City 'ancient and fascinating, with its impressive Arena and the neighboring streets studded with high-ranking stores as Armani, Gucci, Valentino, D & G, ....... treat for the eyes and buyers. There was the famous balcony of Romeo and Juliet, now surrounded by dedications, written messages to all the tourists who go for years to see that tiny balcony and simple town.
It was a busy day and to return to the trees, I was exhausted but satisfied. The humidity 'that the lake around the camp brought up in my little bungalow was over every imaginable percentage ..... I walking along the lake ..... discovering that you could get to the back of the famous park number one in Italy: Gardaland.
