The annual historic representation at Grazzano Visconti
Each year, the last Sunday of May, beginning at 10:00, Graziano Visconti gives all visitors a fascinating historical procession, medieval dinners and theme parties.
The procession recalls the festive meeting between John and his wife Beatrice Anguissola Visconti Valentina Visconti, Madame d'Asti happened back in 1389. The natural scenery of the medieval town whose streets are animated by noble ladies, knights and maidens, warriors and grooms, grooms, troubadours and jesters making it very attractive at all stages of the event.
During the long day of commemoration and 'you can watch performances of jugglers and santimbanchi, bearers and flag wavers, contests of archery, medieval games and tournaments of arms, but not limited to, the shops inside the castle, 'can buy, as well as many souvenirs, local products such as mushrooms and sweet .... the latter not to be missed :-)
Each edition contains the foundation for a spectacular day of celebration, open to banners and flags, according to a schedule prepared with utmost care and attention to detail.
In late afternoon, the traditional tournament horse
competition and technical skills with a healthy dose of danger, because the riders whizzing fast riding their horses down the racetrack. The object 'to fit with the long spear a ring placed on a target speed and all' round the complete path to hit the target that Alfa has a mechanism that signals the first runner. Graziano Visconti not reach 'difficult for those coming from Milan like me, must take the A1 to Piacenza. After leaving the motorway follow the signs to the SP 654R Val Nure (the road that leads to Vigolzone). A dozen miles and you reached the end ;-)
