The beauties of the nature at Vernago Lake in Trentino Alto Adige, Italy

Vernago the lake is an artificial lake in the village and is located in the heart of the Val Senales, west of Merano. The lake is fed by the Rio Senales. Be located at 1689 m and a surface of approx. 100 hectares. Near the lake start at various mountain trails, among them the path to the glacier Senales meeting place of the mummy "Ötzi". Nearby is also the cable car up to the ski area of Senales. The trail that goes around the lake you can see beautiful scenery, with bridges and even a few llamas. To make the full tour is estimated once an hour and a half, but proceeding slowly and stop for some photos it takes a lot more, partly because the path is not always flat.
We stayed for a night at 'Hotel Interski, right next to the lake, half retired to € 49.00 per person, with excellent and plentiful dinner.
