I passed a few times in this region directly in France through the Mont Blanc tunnel, 11 km of tunnel separating Courmayeur from Chamonix in France. In one of these transits I stopped by a mechanical failure due to Courmayeur my Fiat Tipo.
In Valle d'Aosta came on a school trip when I was in middle school overnight in Aosta where we went to see the remains of the ancient Roman city, among others, the arch of Augustus and the Theater. The next day we stopped at the medieval castle of Fenis remember where a lounge with a big fireplace. Fenis is the classic castle with turrets and lace.
