Eight days of musical magic on Lake Orta with Cusiano Early Music Festival. The festival, now in its Twenty-seventh edition, will be held this year in the picturesque location of the island of San Giulio every night giving a breathtaking performance thanks to the great music by artists of international


At one time the island of San Giulio, which is now a real tourist gem, was an inhospitable place, inhabited solely by snakes that crawled through the weeds. Legend has it that the Saints were brothers Julian and Julie to discover after it arrived in Cusio and have built their ninetieth Gozzano church. Just as Work is ongoing, Julius went to the shores of the lake and saw a small island infested with snakes, where he decided to found the hundredth church. Julian and Julius settled in Gozzano reached the Island sailing on his cloak, he drove the snakes and built a church dedicated to the Twelve Apostles. Cusiano Early Music Festival takes place right here on this enchanted that emerges from the darkness of the lake in all its glory, bathed in light.
