For the second year running we are to live in Viareggio carnival, a very enjoyable weekend, which began in the late afternoon on Saturday when the course along which the Sunday is the grand parade will be mobbed by thousands of people in costume, giving rise to a long night of songs, dances and jokes. We, also for this edition, we are positioned near the dock, just steps from the harbor. Here is a true outdoor kitchen where you can enjoy the fried fish to spaghetti with cuttlefish ink, to other delights, just sautéed. Meanwhile, wagons (genuine dancing crew), loads of people in disguise, walk the streets with a retinue of dancing children, teens and adults.
On Sunday afternoon on the course all to admire the wonderful works of art of the craftsmen of papier mache.
Naturally Viareggio Carnival is not only, not for anything I like to spend a few days even in summer: the beautiful atmosphere of the lake Massaciuccoli, relaxing beaches, IN VIEW some of his local, fresh and relaxed nature that leads us to Lucca ... For me it is a magical place ...
