The famous castle of Fenis in Valle d'Aosta region, Italy

In our weekend in Val d'Aosta Fènis visit the castle, dating from the thirteenth century, enlarged in 400 by the feudal family Challant is a typical example of medieval Alpine castle.
Fenis is not on top of a hill, built as the seat of the prestigious Challant.
Very nice backyard, with a semicircular staircase and wooden balcony (unfortunately you can not photograph) Visit the arms room, dining room, pantry, kitchen and study. The furnishings are not age as much younger and part of a collection of furniture Aosta.
Fine views that are followed down to the parking lot.
