Feast of Bread and Tutt'Orto
July 16-17-18

The tradition, the dishes that have the same authentic taste of the past, the wheat, the smell of freshly baked bread, the fresh vegetables ... But fairy tales, legends, poetry, music and dancing villagers handed down from father to son, the games of the magician and the magic of the mouse that is free from the trap. They seem many colorful brush strokes of a great painting, and in fact, the painting will be the other big star of the three-day festival in Grognardo.

Grognardo is a small hilly town with extraordinary natural beauty, surrounded by a totally unspoiled landscape, where there are factories and warehouses, only forests, trails, valleys, hills and fresh waterways. Getting to Grognardo is simple: it is about 8 km from Acqui Terme, 100 and 125 km from Turin to Milan.

The 2010 edition of the Feast of Bread and Tutt'Orto opens Friday, July 16th with the inauguration of the exhibition of the painter Fusillo concept, an artist born in Lentini, Sicily, but transplanted to the North, and dazzled by the beauty of the landscape of the High Monferrato, but also the depth and from the absurdity of certain manifestations of human nature. From these emotions and thoughts are born deeds, surprising, original and authentic, the exhibition "Violence, imposture, antics," which will be open at the Town Hall Grognardo until August 1, 2010.

There will also be space for other artists, professionals and amateurs, who will attend the First Painting Contest Extemporaneous entitled "Grognardo and its environment." The competition will take place Sunday, July 18 from 8:30 to 17:00, the artists create works inspired in the tank to the beauties of the territory of Grognardo (monuments, landscapes, forests, rivers, crops).

Since the nature and the unspoiled countryside of the biggest tourist attraction Grognardo, the walk on Sunday morning will be an opportunity for visitors to become familiar with the scenic trails paths botanical and fauna of environmental education. For walkers will set up a refreshment along the way, and walk will end their offer of cake and wine at the local municipal.

The City of Grognardo proposes four cycle-podisici (blue route, red, yellow and orange), which can be tackled on foot, mountain bike, but also on horseback.
