THE HEAT OF SALENTO

This summer I decided to stay in my beautiful Italy ..... now I have put into the head that if I do not take the plane does not seem to go on vacation ... but after having done 1000 km and the past 10 hours in the car I have a little 'taught ....

I am attracted more to choose an apartment from the parts of Gallipoli ... although there was no good reason, perhaps just because it is more famous ... but everyone kept telling me that the best part of SALENTO is on the side of Otranto and I therefore acknowledges their right to .... and they were right!

I found the site of an agency that leases the SALENTO holiday homes (if you ask me I will tell you the name ).... and I telephoned to one of the numbers that were written .... I answered an operator really friendly kind and that I was able to advise the best area and the best apartment to a very low price. E 'un agency very seriously and youth council at all strongly.

Me and my operator (now trust) we decided not to want to force an apartment on the coast ... we saw that two young boys and with the car, not cost us so much effort to drive ten minutes to go to sea. .. and I have agreed with me ... so I do not feel like moving all week on the beach ... I like to turn, turn and turn and see all we can .... to the delight of my boyfriend .. .. at the end of vacation is usually more tired than when he left ...
and this decision has greatly alleviate the budget that we had ... I have saved at least € 300 ....!

The chosen location is .... Martano a village ten minutes from Otranto the beginning there was a much ... but then proved to be lively and beautiful even aesthetically very nice, with shops, restaurants and a shopping center ... The old residence is called GLAD ORE and is a former mill now used to a dozen all-new studio and very tastefully furnished .... and I know that I'm very attentive to the house or where to go because if I do not like me ruin some 'holiday! From next year I think the pool will also be ee then even better. Among others, the owners are two young boys and then we want to hand .... if we see that we lacked something in the house did not have time to tell him that the morning after they had already ..... really warm and welcoming, friendly and kind.

IN THE AREA OF OTRANTO worth visiting TORRE DELL'ORSO .... a long white beach with several bathing establishments and public beach, right at the bottom is dominated by the towering cliffs which have been detached two huge rocks that are called "The two sisters, "there is a legend dedicated to these two rocks that are on many sites salentini;
SANT'ANDREA where here there are those beautiful rocks that we see in all the tourist brochures ... are really a show and hold to that here there is the beach ... you can make swimming in these beautiful clear waters and nice dives!
BAY OF TURKEY .. for me the most beautiful ... a nice quiet beach with crystal clear water and low down to his knees for a long time '... and go with relaxation ... you must also make a nice walk to the Mediterranean scrub to get there!
LAGHI Alimini ... are just before the Bay of Turks, are big lakes that plunge into the sea ... great show!
OTRANTO ... there are several beaches that are nearby and the sea is beautiful everywhere ... he thought the neighbors were swimming in the port so it deserved!

IN THE AREA OF GALLIPOLI again, the water is always pretty clean and transparent, but rather 'more greenish .... we have done all the seafront from Santa Maria di Leuca and Gallipoli until it's all a huge spiaggiona divided by the various coastlines .... the most famous is called LIDO OF PORCINE and very suitable for young people ... it's full, barrettino on a beautiful beach with music throughout the day ... and the best time is that of ' drink ... you can drink a mojito and delicious sip water dancing to the rhythm of music ....;
Another famous beach is called "THE MALDIVES" and is characterized by huge lies with a huge umbrella that can be found along the way ... (see photo) ... but nothing special.
SANTA MARIA DI LEUCA or also called "de finibus terrae" ... worth a visit if only to think that you are on the heel of Italy .... but also to visit the shrine and the beautiful scenery you see from there '. . (even to eat in one of the restaurants that inspired me a lot'...).

How to visit the city's GALLIPOLI with its new full of beautiful shops open late and the old part which is located across the bridge .... this is the most beautiful ... with all its alleys close full of typical restaurants and shops ... and then turning around the walls there are many rooms where very nice to drink something because overlooking the sea.

OTRANTO is peculiar because its true reality develops inside the castle, which dominates over the harbor ... and there are a lot of great restaurants and a more beautiful and all these shops for souvenirs, trinkets all dug into the walls of the castle .... is that I am old Tuscan places and with the walls, the bricks and viuzzoli so much ... I like Otranto and I liked most of all!

On the way back we went to visit Alberobello and the trulli ... I find it strange that before we lived inside the building so small and the tip! Very nice and open in half a day ... if you can fermatevici to eat ... there's a restaurant you need to get off the ground immediately below the entrance of the trulli area that was a pity that ... bijoux at ten and a half morning it was closed!

Sorry if I speak each line of the restaurants ... but eating is my biggest passion and I like getting the strangest places and nice!
