There were 5 families wanting to spend a few days together around the new year without depleting economically. Through other friends have found a very economical solution and rather crude, in that of Volterra, in a vacation home named Villa Garden. We had at our disposal a whole floor with 5 rooms that lead onto a large room with a fireplace, sofas and many central plank, that we left almost always ready to play and eat. There were two bathrooms outside the rooms and the use of a large kitchen downstairs, which we used sometimes as an alternative to eating out. . . Villa Garden is an ancient villa surrounded by a beautiful park, so at other times of the year is interesting to note from this point of view.
And under the guise of New Year's Day, we visited other sights of Tuscany.
