The magnificent Royal Palace of Caserta.. Trip to the Italian Versailles in Campania region

(Distance 151 km from home). For my 27th birthday I received a royal day in what is called the Italian Versailles: the palace of Caserta. We reached Caserta train station just outside the imposing palace appear before and so it is very convenient to use the train to get there, no need of other means and there is no thought of the machine. The fact is that trains are not the best comfort, however .... Very beautiful building in which rooms the atmosphere is attractive due to the frescoes and furniture: a spectacular light and color to the throne room and also secure the crib in a separate room. Equally beautiful is the staircase leading to the interior of the building: very impressive! Leaving the palace has a desire to walk outdoors is easily met: the road leading to the final waterfall is a highway dotted with beautiful fountains. Although we have the opportunity to hire a bike or a carriage ride, we decided to make the journey on foot to trap the smallest detail or hidden corner. At the foot of the waterfall, there is the garden, where the walk (even if it started a long way) is pleasantly relaxing. Unfortunately a negative note: surely there could be more careful in maintaining the site and more rigorous in demanding respect for the protection of this wonderful place that was wrong was named a World Heritage Site: it is not unusual to see the fountains cans or papers scattered on the lawns.
