Sardinia is one of the questions that need to see at least once. I was lucky enough to go there three times, and the latter two, I always chose the North which in my opinion is the most beautiful! The beaches and the sea will not have anything to envy to the sea of the tropics, there are coves with white sand and turquoise sea that bothers the eyes to look at without sunglasses.
We stayed in a budget hotel in the center of Palau (Hotel Murru) night only because the center of Palau there are many restaurants to eat and spend little.
The hike will remain forever the most beautiful boat trip to the islands of La Maddalena! Would recommend! That's where you can admire the natural beauty of this country that our luck is in Italy !!!!!!
