The marvelous town of Portovenere, on the extreme top of Liguria, Italy

Portovenere is located at the southern end of a peninsula, which forms the western shore of the Gulf of Spezia. At the end of this peninsula are three small islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto; only Palmaria Island, which lies directly opposite the village of Porto Venere beyond a narrow stretch of sea, is a small part inhabited.
Today is a non competitive program in the island of Palmaria. By bus we arrived in Porto Venere, a boat takes us to the island, right in front of Porto Venere. We choose the route of 7 km, is not quite flat. We find the first warm weekend .... We arrive at the port and we take the ferry to Porto Venere. Ilborgo time to visit the church of San Pietro and admire the view towards the rocky coast.
In the evening, on the way back, stop at the Farm at Poggio a Montecarlo (LU) and is truly an experience to advise you.
