Lovely town situated in Northern Tuscany, Lucca enjoys an enviable location, just minutes from the Versilia coast, less than an hour from the mountains of the Apennines and the Apuan, 60 km from Florence and 20 km from Pisa.

The historical center, surrounded by a walled Renaissance is characterized by narrow lanes, churches and historic buildings.

Lucca is a city entirely to discover. Starting from the walls can be covered on foot or by bike its 4 km from which you can see beautiful scenery and numerous towers and steeples. Lucca is in fact one of the few Italian cities to have full walls entirely viable and perfectly preserved for not having been formerly used as military defense.

Going into the city you can admire numerous medieval churches and Lucca is in fact been dubbed "the city of 100 churches" given the high number of churches in the historic center. Walking through the streets of the center will take the main Via Fillungo, is a narrow medieval streets where they are meeting the main shops of the city. In the middle of Via Fillungo you reach Piazza Anfiteatro, the most famous and charming square born from the ruins of the ancient Roman amphitheater by architect Nottolini. Turning into Via Guinigi, we come homonymous tower, famous for the presence of a large oak on its top.

Leaving the city, the landscape changes, the plain of Lucca and its hills are characterized by a succession of medieval villages and numerous historic villas (there are more than 300).
