/8/2005 Arrival in Corvara, greets us along the way a thunderstorm ... but now we seem to motorcyclists so there bagnamo. We leave the highway at Torre de sparrows, the landscape quickly becomes desolate. We climb up the steep streets, but enough to remove his eyes from the road that we immediately struck by a scene indescribable. We arrive at last on a farm, the scenario that presents itself is not at all comfortable, the room is the worst, damp, drafty door and the bathroom sadly missing the toilet seat ... after a few hours of discomfort we decide to stay.
/8/2005 Visit to Campo Imperatore, indescribable. We got off to Santo Stefano di Sessanio visiting the village famous for the hotel spread inside, an Italian Swedish to buy shares of the restored village and renting rooms. Then we visited the fortress of Calascio famous for giving space to some movies.
/8/2005 We went to the sea, pine trees near Pescara. At 2 meddler then come the clouds en route to Sulmona, a first stage to the source of the river Pescara and then straight to the goal. But the dark clouds looming and then route to the house and stage point to the astonishing Abbey of San Clemente.
/8/2005 Today we leave for a very long trip. We go from the farm and just throw ourselves in the corners of this region, the desolation of these areas there acconpagna for long. We begin immediately with Sulmona, a small town no different from our first, but it takes no time to find traces of art in every corner. We leave quickly filled with excitement, overwhelmed by an unexpected landscape. We enter the throat of Sagittarius outpost of the National Park of Abruzzo and you'll be enchanted by the sight, the road narrows dangerously and the vegetation becomes more dense. Just a few corners and find the lake on our right of s. Dominic stretching between the mountains in a picturesque vision. Back in the saddle and come to Scanno which opens with the same lake in a whirlwind of tourism. Luckily we get to the historic village renowned for being the most photographed d 'Italia, the alleys have been with us to feel the smells and colors that caratterzzano this evocative piece d' Italy. Left the country we continue to run up and down the mountains to cross the whole park, the road seems never to end every corner reserve a scenario better. Each stretch is a resort for all kinds of pasture, and the photos are now wasted. We walk sadly and somewhat tired towards the end, we come to Pescina and after a short rest we take the highway and fly fast towards Aperegina.
/ 8 It's going to Tuscany ...
