These were our holidays in Sardinia in 2001, we liked and certainly will return in the future in this beautiful island, of course, everything is very subjective, what we like may not be shared by others and vice versa. It was not very tiring, i have a few km a day ahead, the roads are two lanes is not very large, often in the mountains with curves and counter-curves, we had no major problems, excluding the parking and traffic bans in some countries or cities, which, unfortunately, leave the mouth and a bitter sense of anger and impotence against those authorities who put those signs so hated.
For the ferry, we used the Linea dei Golfi, traveling in covered and you can be on the camper, if all aboard from Friday evening to Sunday evening will pay a 50% increase, not being sure the day of return, we have not gone -return, in this case would be spared.
We spent the whole holiday, £. 2.800.000, in this figure is all inclusive: ferries, oil, highways, parking and camping, food (even the cats eat), and various restaurants.
