I have been a couple of times in Abruzzo, the first baby with my mother on a trip to see the National Park, probably the most important in Italy. Given the age I was thinking of seeing some animals along the route in the park and not see it was for me a big disappointment. We passed Pescasseroli and we stopped for lunch at Avezzano.
On another occasion I came in Abruzzo as a journalist during the World Figure Skating Championships which were held in Accessibility Roccaraso. I stayed with a cameraman in a hotel of the place and I also made it possible to see the pleasant surroundings, Sulmona and Cividella Alfadena. I went with my colleague, cameraman also Pescara to dump the images on a local television station. The opening ceremony of the World Cup offered an opportunity to explore some aspects of regional folklore such as in typical costumes of the dancers who appeared around a high pole on the summit of which were placed multicolored ribbons.
I was also in Molise, a small region once united to Abruzzo. I was military Benevento in Campania, and went to training in an appropriate field in the province of Campobasso. Of course I saw nothing but that field.
