It starts from Malga Ciapela after a day of relaxation until the rain stops!
Tuesday, August 22 under an order piogerellina mean the local shop poncho with anti-water and everything else, starting for the first tappa.Siamo me and my wife Betty: children have abandoned not too attracted by 5 days of hiking (worse for them!)
The first goal is the Refuge Contrin that come through the Pass dell'Ombretta; approximately 2 hours after arriving at the hut where we Falier heat by drinking a good hot tea. Yes again and luckily the rain has stopped but the time does not promise anything good: Step closer rises to a very strong wind that once reached the bivouac on the spot Step dell'Ombretta us to stop for a few minutes nell'angusto space already occupied by 2 Spanish climbers spend the night there.
Start with some fear and the wind is so strong that I fly off the hat!
Going down the valley the wind decreased and we take courage, and the company of marmots and a herd of ibex welcomes us and takes us along the descent.
In a couple of hours we arrived at the hut where Contrin sleep for a couple of nights, the evening runs nice with a good dinner and a good bottle of red wine.
The next day we organized a tour around the refuge. The day was enhanced by only half that after the water the previous day, only pleasure. We also have the opportunity to take a short stretch of tracks for the "joy" of Betty who suffers from vertigo!
On the way back we still have a refuge in anotte preceded by a dinner restaurant.
The next day we start for the Refuge Fuchiade that is reached through the passage of Cirelle after 2.5 hours of climb is not too busy to go down the route of the neck to the steep moraine: very fun and fast: in the bottom of the moraine is already sees the heavenly green valley where stands the hut as we discover that Fuchiade called Rifugio yes but is in fact a 5-star hotel with a kitchen to be envied at restaurants much quoted: a nice surprise! So finally after a decent shower and a nap in a bed how to get ready for dinner which will be superb.
On 26, you depart for Malga Ciapela through step called Forca Rossa who arrive without difficulty among green pastures frequented by herds of horses oltr the usual marmots that in these days we have had company. The descent from Forca Rossa a Malga Ciapela is long but you walk in a nature untouched and truly fascinating. Very soon (about 3 hours) we arrived at their destination and decide not to stop there to stay but just to share Mantova destination where a dinner at the restaurant "2 cavallini". We reward the hard work done.
