Hello everyone, I wanted to share with you a pleasant journey made during the period of Easter.
We called John and Valeria, and, on the advice of friends, we decided d spend these holidays in Sicily. We chose the western part for the convenience offered by the airport of Trapani.
We started the morning of 20/03 to 06/15, and arrived at their destination after about an hour flight, we withdrew the car hired through the Internet. had an appointment in the afternoon with the B & B Gadir, so we took advantage of the time at our disposal to Marsala to visit since it was in the street. It 'was already the morning, a heady days as visiting wineries Florio Marsala we just had breakfast with cheeses, cold meats and an excellent "kadoz. We arrived at lunchtime to visit the characteristic Punic ship avermangiato good fish and after we moved in Mazara del Vallo.
Here we made the acquaintance of Valerio and Angelica, the holders of the B & B which we have welcomed offering of Sicilian cannoli accompanied by good coffee. (here would have cried: minchia!)
We chose this B & B looking at the photos on the internet, but did not think that was even better live. In fact, over the cleaning and service of those who manage, this property is located in the center of the city where life takes place after dinner. Returning to the trip, we've closed Girne eating pizza swordfish fabulous. The next day we visited Trapani, the salt and its museum where we ate all made of sardines, and eggplants, the afternoon, instead we spent at the Mount Erice, from which we could admire the breathtaking scenery offered by the archipelago Egadi. Back at the base and satiated lunch in the afternoon, we asked Angelica advice for a light dinner and, with even our amazement, we discovered another specialty of this place: the ice cream or better yet the brioche with ice cream. Saturday morning we rested a bit more and decided to visit two archaeological sites nearby, Selinunte and Segesta. Always on the advice of the boys of the B & B we took the lunch bag and we are literally immersed in the past !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (you can not describe). Since Saturday evening we decided to go and eat fish and we just removed the desire with a grilled shrimp, calamari, jumbo shrimp (just because expensive) and mullet. ENTERTAINMENT.
On Sunday morning we had breakfast, as always, in the bar near the B & B (where there's everything from salty to sweet) and we went to Mass in the cathedral. Stuff to stay and head up on how baroque and majestic. Being the last day we spent visiting the Mazara and we discovered a city rich in history (the Diocesan Museum and Museum of the Dancing Satyr), but not loved by their inhabitants. We also wondered where you moved the summer and Angelica Valerio took us to the beach of "Tonnarella" that the rocks of "Quarara. I think the summer holidays here are very funny, what's seen on Saturday evening until late at night. It 'time to greet us, bringing with us these wonderful memories and we advise our friends to come here and also why we wanted to share this with you our experience. hello to the next trip
