The beautiful capital of Piemonte, Turin, which was also the first capital of Italy since it left here, the resurgence of our country. Turin is a noble city discreet, rich in historical aristocratic palaces that are very impressive and majestic squares in large classes where it is nice to walk looking at the architecture and absorb the pleasant smells that come from the numerous cafes. Piazza Castello is the heart of the historic castle which dominates the center and the Palazzo Reale. But the symbol of Turin is the Mole Antonelliana whose bristling dome is visible from a distance, inside houses the Cinema Museum housed in a truly original reconstructed film sets, posters of famous movies and where they are re-created atmosphere of your dreams. E 'can also make a trip to the dawn of film using the first rudimentary machines for moving image as magic lanterns. The first time I saw the Cinema Museum was from my mother and the child with his Fiat 850 special. At that time the museum was housed on the ground floor of a building in Piazza Castello and the Mole Antonelliana closed to the public. During this brief stay I entered the church that houses the Holy Shroud, the sheet where, according to religious tradition was wrapped the body of the Crucified. In the two days in town my mother and I went up with a train on the hill of Superga, which houses the shrine but also the memory of the tragic plane crash where he died on the football team of Turin during the flight returning from a trip to Portugal. At the time of the trip was a football fan, so I went to Municipal Stadium to watch the match between Juventus and Bologna (1 to 1 for the record with two penalties each side). We visited also the interior of the Royal Palace with its sumptuous rooms, its gardens and the castle front. I stayed mostly impressed by the visit to the Museo del Risorgimento, which houses among other things, the Savoy Parliament that gave birth to Italy. I recently studied the Risorgimento to school and see the place which was core unit of Italy was for me a thrill. Interesting also the zoo and the Valentino Park.
But this was not my first time in Turin, there had already been a few years ago on a school trip to the elementary school to visit the Egyptian Museum, the largest in the world after that of Cairo. I had carefully studied Egypt and had great expectations from this visit and was probably why I appeared disappointing but my eyes were those of a child with its analytical capacity.
My youthful infatuation and passion for football brought me back for Juventus in Turin in at least three occasions, twice with a club of white fans were confined to the Stadium to watch the match (and Juventus Juventus-Avellino-Celtic Glasgow), but in one of these (Juventus-Napoli) was hosted by a friend who took me at my request to review the Museo del Risorgimento, which I had so much passion years earlier.
I returned to Turin after a medical examination and for work having to comment on a game demo of elastic ball right in Piazza Castello winter version with a bit of snow on the roof of the Palazzo Reale.
Finally the last visit to Turin to attend the Winter Olympics to which I refer to "Olympic Turin.
