Between the Province of Siena in Tuscany that is certainly one that deserves more to be appofondita from me. Many are the interesting places that I have not yet visited Siena and well worth a visit with greater attention. Many are the times that I have crossed this area and in some cases I have come here for tourism. As a child I went with an organized tour by bus to Siena and San Gimignano. In Siena visited the splendid Piazza del Campo with the Palazzo Pubblico and the Torre del Mangia. Inside the Palazzo Pubblico visited several rooms including the great hall of the globe-rich oprere art. I went to the Cathedral and the beautiful façade richly decorated and at the modest sanctuary of Santa Caterina is located on the site of his house. Qulcosa difficult to say more about this beautiful city visited by the child. I can say little of the place visited during this trip, San Gimignano, where walking through the medieval streets of the center among its many towers. Much later I paused briefly to Siena during a trip with a friend, we went to Piazza del Campo but really was a fleeting visit. A little closer a few years ago a few hours stopover in San Gimignano visiting the three beautiful contiguous Squares: Herb, the Cistern and the Duomo. These squares are surrounded by historical buildings like the Palazzo del Popolo and the Collegiate but in fact the whole city is a set of well-preserved medieval buildings which include the numerous towers. A visit to San Gimignano is a dip in the Middle Ages. During the same trip I stopped in Colle Val D'Elsa, a walled city of medieval set on a hill. A long road through the center between two wings of historic buildings, some of which are equipped with towers and friezes.
On another occasion I visited the extreme south of the province from Chiusi, an ancient pre-Roman city of Trustees, but certainly etrusca cited in the Hellenistic era. The old town has the Cathedral with an imposing bell tower block and many other churches such as St. Francis. Making the rounds of the city is easy to discover brief glimpses characteristic panorama of the valley below and go to the Piazza del Municipio. From here a few kilometers in Chianciano Terme, where the modern crossed vast area occupied by spa facilities are now in the small historic center, a real paesotto spot on a hill, partly walled, with some building of interest such as an arc and Clock Tower. Definitely more interesting next stop in Montepulciano, where the old town and the valley begins to spread to the top of a hill where you come along a street strewn surrounded by ancient palaces and churches. Top is the main square where one-of-sight are tourism as no coating (such as San Lorenzo in Florence) and the medieval town hall with lace and clock tower. Go along the old roads that climb and descend from the hill is like visiting a museum of antiques shops and wine shops to taste the famous wines produced here are hosted in typical funds often with stone vaulted ceiling. It is frequently seen as the characteristic angles of Pulcinella Tower on the summit where a friendly snowman mechanical sounds the bell. These are my few experiences tourism in the Province of Siena.
