Venice, the world's romantic capital

How can you not visit at least once in their lifetime a special city like Venice?
E ', I was wondering why a little time and so together with my girlfriend Laura decide to dedicate a weekend to visit Venice and its surroundings.
Through advice of a friend decided to stay in Oriago Mira
on the River Brenta.
Burchiello The hotel is 4 stars and has an adjoining restaurant where you eat the fish that is the end of the world.
Pay 150 euros 2 nights with breakfast and dinner to about 75 (but flat).
From here you can take the boat that makes the tour of the villas on the Brenta positioned to reach Venice or Padua, or just in front of the bus pass that takes you to Venice.

 

First day

We arrive at the hotel we visit the systemic and Malcontenta a beautiful villa near.
From here we go to Mestre, where we leave the car and take the bus that takes us 10 minutes to destination (in this
so we avoid paying parking in Venice that costs a lot).
Let the Venice Card that will allow us to take all the ferries in unlimited quantities and get discounts on museums and public services.
From here begins our journey to discover Venice.
We do not have a 'particular itinerary in mind because the fun is just turn the channel and the hidden alleys where maybe you can discover the different sides of the city.
However as if by magic we get to the Rialto Bridge that its splendor is perhaps second only to the Ponte Vecchio in Florence.
From here begins a series of innumerable shops from famous brands such as Bulgari, Versace, Armani, etc.. that take you
almost by hand to Piazza S. Marco.
What wonder! Wonderful.
Photo rite, and given the late hour back at the hotel where after a nice refreshing shower we are going to enjoy our meal with a basis of good fish.
We have done well to stay at Burchiello, as well as a fair price has been eaten by God, which is not in Venice
almost never happens.

Second day

We head to fondamente Nove, where we take the ferry to Murano.Qui seeing in a glass factory to the creation of a jar and after we get into selling their products to true craftsmanship.
Also visit the museum of glass before leaving the island to head to Burano.

And while we are on the romantic decide to take a gondola ride (half-seen prices, but it is more than enough).
Vale la pena just try this experiment, is passing through a different channel lulled by the gentle movements of the gondola. Very romantic.
Now it is already dark, and Venice has already changed the face, with its lights reflecting in the canals is nothing short of fantastic.
Burchiello return to where we are lucky to try the Risotto del Doge, one word: Divine.

Third day

Last day, we leave the hotel and leave the car in Mestre place usually unpaid.
By lap different than usual always checked in Piazza S. Marco this time where we stop to do some pictures with the pigeons, we visit the Basilica and we embark on the Lido.
This is the area where the Venetians love to come to relax and it seems a seaside resort.
Consumed the lunch we return to town where we will visit the Palazzo Ducale from crossing the Bridge of Sighs that led to the cells.
