What was a tourist trip, a journey to work or transit to another destination in this region have been many times. Moreover, the capital of the Veneto and Venice, if not the world's most beautiful vcittà certainly is unique in its kind. I do not think there is a charming city in between the ones I have seen many land and sea because here they get married, instead of the streets there are channels along which there are beautiful palaces filled with precious architectural windows, terraces and three-light windows or windows. It 'a beautiful museum city forward in all ways, on board vessels that ply the square of the railway station Grand Canal to Piazza San Marco, by walking through narrow streets where every corner we expect Piazetta delicious. But the most magical places to me are the stretch of the Grand Canal immediately after passing under the beautiful Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco with its columns, the Cathedral, the Palazzo Ducale and its other impressive monuments. In Venice you will be fascinated and for the atmosphere, even exploring the hidden alleys or narrower channels, where only a gondola can pass. Immersed in a cosmopolitan crowd of tourists or surrounded by a flock of pigeons in Piazza San Marco we leave this city of charm. A visit less superficial can lead to the discovery of its hidden treasures, museums, churches. During a recent trip I purchased the card that allowed me to visit the museum hosted in New Procuratie, those housed in the former naval dockyards were built where the Venetian fleet that dominated the Eastern Mediterranean, the eighteenth-century collection a stately home which Cà Rezzonico. But you can not be restricted here to see the perspective from outside the cathedral, you enter to fill our eyes of the many mosaics that cover every wall. You can also climb up to see the famous bronze horses result of a plunder of war or go to Constantinople as I did once already at the top of the block of St. Mark's bell tower to see the city from above. From there you can tell better how Venice is an island town in the middle of the lagoon formed by hundreds of small islands intersected by channels is not great. But even the Doge's Palace is worth a visit if only to pass by the famous Bridge of Sighs, which gives access to the gloomy prison. And if it is pushed beyond the city with the ferry of the lagoon, you can reach smaller islands such as Murano, where I've been twice, in an antique shop to see the art of blowing glass or in the long run, modern island of Lido held annually where the famous Film Festival. But Venice is expensive, and agrees to spend the night elsewhere, for example in anonymous Mestre and Chioggia, on the other side of the lagoon, city of canals and bridges with fishing tradition. But the most interesting thing would be to leave the car on the Riviera del Brenta and reach half the public square in Rome to Venice to get into one of the boats that are shuttling between here and Piazza San Marco. While transferring you can see the neoclassical architecture of the villas of Palladio and switch between countries along the river with towers that are the thumbnails of the San Marco.
A stone's throw from the Brenta there Padua, a city worth a visit not only for the Basilica of Saint Anthony but also a beautiful historic center which features the majestic Palazzo della Ragione Piazza delle Erbe and also the marble facade of the Coffee Pedrocchi Valley Park, a square circular green surrounded by classical statues. I was in the Province of Padua to Abano and I rode around the walls of Montagnana going to work towards Casale Scodosia.
Definitely less attractive the Province of Rovigo on which I have visited the capital, Badia Polesine and some countries along the banks of the Po Bergantino and as Melara.
Definitely more interesting Vicenza in its historical center, at a distance of a few hundred meters, houses many buildings and a wooden stage Palladian interesting to visit. In the province were in Breganze, Thiene, Valdagno and Trissino but the only place worthy Bassano del Grappa is a beautiful old town and its famous covered bridge.
Verona is famous throughout the world for the story of Romeo and Juliet but the city offers much more than the house with a terrace where the two met secretly in love and so-called tomb of Juliet. In Verona, the Arena is especially so well preserved that still is a place of entertainment and the ancient Piazza delle Erbe. The province is named hosts the eastern part of Lake Garda on which side, at Peschiera, Gardaland is the biggest Italian amusement park destination of my many visits.
Belongs to the Province of Belluno a beautiful stretch of the Dolomites, among the most beautiful mountains in the world. Venetian portion of these mountains are the footsteps of Pordoi and Falzarego connected by a road from where you enjoy spectacular views. After Falzarego the way down to Cortina d'Ampezzo, the most important Italian resort that was the seat of the Beijing Olympics. A few km from the town's Misurina, a jewel set amid beautiful mountains and lapped by the homonymous mountain lake. From here a path leads to charges in a retreat from which I made the complete circuit of a path that runs around the Three Peaks, perhaps the most beautiful mountain in the Dolomites, half of which belong to the Trentino Alto Adige.
