Visit to the major cities of Marche region, southeastern Italy

I was in the capital Ancona four times but always in passing. On the first occasion I was a child and during a trip by bus, returning from a visit to Recanati and Loreto, moving from town for a panoramic tour without disembarking from the middle. That time I saw this as Loreto, the city that keeps the house in the tradition of Madonna. In any case, the shrine attracts many pilgrims, the sacred image and thanks to this highly revered Loretan churches have proliferated throughout the world. Not far away I saw also Recanati, a town linked to the memory of the poet Giacomo Leopardi which you can visit the memorial house which retains some of his memories and is preceded by a beautiful tree lined avenue.
The second time I came by boat from Ancona to Durres in Albania but I immediately went home.
The third and the fourth time in Ancona has been a place of departure and arrival of the ship going to Cesme in Turkey in Asia but I have not had time to visit. On this occasion, coming from southern Tuscany on a road that goes through the inland hills, I stopped in Urbino. Situated on a hill Urbino is a medieval city with a historic center rich in monuments and churches stand where the Ducal Palace and the Cathedral. Walked with my friend who accompanied me on the streets and monumental squares surrounded by palaces and aristocrats frequented by young students of the ancient local universities. I transitioned from the Marches also went once to San Marino via Novafeltria on the road that comes from Tuscany.
