Trip to the Baltic Republics: Part 2, Latvia
And second intermediate stage of the Baltic countries, Latvia was one of three countries .. maybe I liked more! Especially for the capital, which is the largest of the three besides being very beautiful. Riga has many things to see, all the bridge that divides the city into 2 parts, the Old Town very characteristic, the church of St. Peter's cathedral, the castle, the great monuments to freedom and the houses called "Three Brothers" , and they offer perspective on the development of Riga during the centuries. We then moved to Jurmala to try to make a dip in the Baltic Sea .. idea that I set aside almost immedietamente because I wanted to skin! The journey then continued to Rundale, visiting the city and the world famous Pilsrundale, the Dukes of Courland with a beautiful collection of paintings, furniture and other objects that give this place the imperial splendor. Finally the city of Bauska, near the border with Lithuania ... where stand the ruins of the castle.
