Trip to the Baltic Republics: Part 1, Lithuania

The last stop of our trip Baltic .. Lithuania! First stop was the viagigo the coast, visiting the two towns of Neringa and Palanga ... the last is a great resort, because here the water is warmer Estonia and we could enjoy a great bathroom, thanks to the sandy beaches! Neringa but I especially liked the adjacent forest ... with several wooden sculptures bizarre creatures like fairy tales .. you can see in some photos. Subsequently, the left coast, we carry inside with a visit to Siaulai, a country known not for what's inside, but the hill of crosses just outside it ... a sight! Thousands upon thousands of crosses of all sizes, material, contrasting color are side by the other, a place so important to be visited by the pope in the early 90s.
We move then to the south .. with the visit of two centers of greater magnitude, the capital Vilnius and Kaunas ... Kaunas, k first knew her only for the basketball team I've noticed that is a pretty town famous above all for the old town and its fort, or what's left, and is full of boys and girls really nice hehe! The capital however is the classic example of a Russian city that wants Westernized .. to see the many churches that occupy the city and some interesting museums, like the KGB and that of Genocide ... now back home, but a good first stop in Poland do not nobody takes it!
