A rapid visit to the tiny Luxembourg, during our trip to Amsterdam
A quick way in Luxembourg while traveling to Amsterdam. Luxembourg has had a relatively short history, and not particularly troubled over the centuries: Born as a feudal county in 1312 it became independent in 1867 and is divided into two districts and 12 cantons. Lying at the heart of Europe between France, Belgium and Germany, has developed an excellent rail and road network. There are many highways and rail connections are excellent. See French TGV linking Luxembourg with Paris in only 2:05 a.m.. In the Grand Duchy also has an international airport, located in the municipality of Findel, 6km from the city center.
