TRAVEL DIARY
The trip is a continuation from Belgium
Friday 16.08.85
After breakfast departure for Brussels, parked at the Atomium then crossed the Park de Laeken Belvedere, visit the Chinese Pavilion and Japanese Tower. We move to the center by car to see the Royal Palace, the EEC and the fiftieth anniversary of the palace. From Brussels along the beautiful road that leaves the city, passing through dense forests arrive in Luxemburg. We find it messy and a bit disappointed.
Annotation taken from the Touring Club
The city is situated on a platform cut into the rocky peak on three sides by deep natural moats. Due to its location on the site since the tenth century it was fortified, and in 1554, the city went almost destroyed by the explosion of dust, it was rebuilt thanks to Fiippo II with wide and straight roads.
Of note: Musée de l'Etat, Chemin de la Corniche, Place de la Constitution, Adolphe.
We continue the trip to Germany, walk the vineyards of the Rhine valley to cross over to France a few kilometers. Riattraversato the ground and taken the highway to the south, just before we stop Freiburg to dine and visit the city.
