The real destination of our journey is the Netherlands, but to break the trip we decide to make a brief stop in
Luxembourg, in effect one day was more than enough because the state is not very large.
The first day of travel abbaimo via France and decided to stop in the evening to spend the night in
Thionville, in practice a few kilometers from the border with
Luxembourg and, again as with past experiences in France and Austria, we choose a chain of hotels for sleep (the cantena concerned Campanile hotels with several rooms, a choice between smoking and non-restaurant available with several options from buffet of appetizers or desserts, with a second choice, of course, do not try the pasta dishes, much beyond the Italian border do not exist and therefore better not to risk).
The next day we are ready for the visit to
Luxembourg, the capital of this small state is precisely a Grand unfortunately the time is not the best but we are optimistic and in fact it does not rain all day, just touring around the city and ordered decisamente very clean, quiet and with a bit of movement only in the city center where we come across even a small crowd gathered to attend a show of street artists, with children and have fun dreaming by numbers proposed by skilled artists.
In the afternoon we reach
Echternach a nice town not far and very touristy.
The following day we continue our journey to the Netherlands.
