Like the overwhelming majority of those who visit your site, I too am a fan of traveling. In 2005 I was in Malta, an island that I rode the length and breadth of Vespa, and a good part of my travel experience is merged into a novel recently given to the press.
The Maltese countryside is deserted and silent, the resorts along the coasts, are lively and sparkling. The only common denominator of this multifaceted environment is the scooter with which the characters move in total freedom, scouring a territory with stunning scenery and discovering even more vivid and profound cultural legacy that becomes a game of history and tradition.
"Island Time" by Giuseppe Raudino (Lulu *, softcover, 255 pages, € 16.50) is the story of a deep and exciting adventures of two boys who accidentally meet in Malta after years of absence.
Flavio and Teresa are the main characters of this novel. Both enjoy traveling, both love to travel aboard a PX 125 for dirt road on the island, where they often heavy dry walls bordering the road and the smell of thyme, which grows close is imprinted in their memories while rushing to the next Vespa.
Although this is a fresh and youthful romance, in addition to the events narrated the work offers a detailed and accurate historical reconstruction of the main steps that have brought the glorious and powerful Order of the Knights of St. John to land on the islands of Malta and become known throughout the world with the name "Knights of Malta."
The novel is sold exclusively through Lulu.com * and can be ordered at the following link:
