The village and the monastery Capriana.. Trip to Moldova
ll Capriana monastery, located about twelve miles south-west of Straseni, is reached after passing through a beautiful forest. This sacred place of orthodoxy and 'miraculously survived the looting and destruction perpetrated by the Soviets during the communist era had converted warehouse. The buildings that make up can be found on the shore of a lake. The oldest part, the church of the Assumption, dating from the fourteenth century, in baroque style.
