The trip is made on 4 with a camper and has been the continuation of Sweden

Sunday 30.07.95
Departure from the camp at 8.30, now we reach the goal of the trip: Å. The route is very beautiful and varied, it moves from one island to another with a bridge, a ferry and a tunnel under the sea pay. A Leknes, major stores, are all closed because it's Sunday. At 14 we will stop where the road ends in the sense that there is more than just the sea, and visit Å. Truly deserves with the typical red houses with huge piers, with the gulls and the sea calm: it seems to be a postcard! To return to the Borg soll'isola Vestvågøy, for some thirty kilometers from the camp, found a house reconstruction of a Viking king of the hill with a museum and, following the path, a lake on a Viking ship sails and oars. 21:30 in the evening returned to camp to Svolvær, camping Sandvika. Taken our place on the harbor. 264 Km
Monday 31.07.95
We leave the camp at 8.30am to make the trip by ferry to Trollfjord. Changing a few pounds because here the change is very disadvantageous: see lira currency risk. The ferry (vessel) has a capacity of 20 persons, very beautiful. Tip: Cover with sweaters and k-way. On the way back to the parking lot stop for lunch and immediately started way back by ferry to the Vesterålen. In an area near Narvik we stop to eat and then sleep. 275 Km
Tuesday 01.08.95
We start at 6.30 or better and my father driving us a bit more standardized. We have 1 and a half before heading to boarding the ferry for Bognes, bell'attraversamento fjord on the bridge in the fog. A Fauske do a ride along the way with a few shops, we buy the famous and very good strawberries. To stop for refueling after Rognan diesel. We reach the Polar Circle (80 Km from Mo i Rana), and stop here on the big square where dinner and overnight. 380 Km
Wednesday 02.08.95
7.30 am departure from the polar circle, beautiful all the way through the mountains and snowfields. Crossing Mo. Suddenly the sea is a salt bends up to 700 m. Arrived on the hill we stop to take photos of the goats and give him the bread: they have a coat and often ispido, other than soft clouds! Beautiful landscape with lakes, pine forests and mountains pyramid carved by glaciers. A south of Grane Mosjøen visit the granite formations in the bed of the river with stone carvings, and birch trees as bonsai seem to be prostrate, immediately after the beautiful waterfall of salmon Lakfoss. Stop to change Region with an arc from north to Trondheim Norge where do the small cacquisti. At the end of the day camp Snåsa. 411 Km
Thursday 03.08.95
Departure from the campsite at 8.30am under a heavy rain. 90 km walk around without finding petrol, a Stenkjer fortunately we can do is fill in the distributor is a huge supermarket with everything inside, including tropical palms. It 'almost like an American shopping mall (or perhaps the comparison ...). The way we pay for Trondheim. The houses are really beautiful in this area, all carved in wood painted white with coordinated the gazebo in the middle of super-maintained gardens. After several days in the company of an Austrian camperino to divide us. In the valley of the river Lom is very swollen. The boiler of the river is beautiful and impressive for the size and scope. We stop in a place for dinner near a slope with the cows to pasture, the next picnic area for sleeping, there are already 5 other campers of all nations to exchange impressions, two Danish, one Finnish, one Dutch and a Swiss German. The area is in a rocky gorge near the river, we Kleppe, 30 km from Lom. 468 Km
Friday 04.08.95
Today is expected to cross the Alps on the road 55 to the Jotunheimen National Park that leads to Krossbu and the fjord Sognefjordane.
In the morning starting at 8.30am and will run for the shops Lom. Buy classic sweaters and a few souvenirs. Then it starts the route: the first country Roysheim reported by the guide is made up of wooden houses in 1700 but not open because part of a hotel. Shortly after we find a reconstructed Sagasoyla, with payment of parking, 33 m obelisk erected to commemorate the independence of Norway. The original wood was in Lillehammer, but has deteriorated in spite of the restoration, which is why they have been a copy in stone, the 13 blocks that make up the column representing 13 centuries of history of Norway. The country is composed of inlaid wooden houses, very nice and treated. It continues to rise but the time is actually greater for the many photo-stops made. The upper part of the trail up to the Jotunheimen Krossbu is very beautiful and there is between snowfields, glaciers and lakes on which floating iceberg. The part on the fjord, however, is somewhat 'disappointing and the road is very narrow. A Kaupanger there is a ferry for the crossing of the fjord, 109 NK, buy a tray of cherries we eat very good during the crossing. After Revsnes the road and the scenery is interesting. We stop to have dinner in the parking lot of stavkirke (wooden church roofs with overhanging) the most famous of Norway to complete Borgund also bell, after having visited. At the end of the square by the custodians, we continue the journey. The road, unlike the other leading to Oslo, no salt ever so sharp, we assume is the fastest way to Oslo. In a pitch on the lake after Øye, Vang before and at 2130 we stopped to sleep next to two other camper.297 Km
Saturday 05.08.95
Today we going to leave Norway and try mushrooms in the woods, where years before we had found so many, before the Swedish border. Paste the parking reindeer on self camper. Departure at 9.15 am, stop in Vang where to park in a huge space. In a market buy a nice variety of beers' og ', white beers. Oslo stop cross only for the full and, just before the border, deviamo to search for mushrooms. We find only a few porcinello. The border to retrieve 130NK expenditure made in the shop Lom tax free. Sweden to stop in a diner on the highway. Then a '; further stop for the night in an area indicated on the facilities, are 22 and we are now coming to Göteborg.663 km
Sunday 06.08.95
In the morning we leave the area. In seeking highway diesel but the 7:30 and distributors are still closed. With the help of a Swedish gentleman, very kind, we find a distributor and then open fully. We discover that, in Sweden on Sunday will pay more. Take the ferry to Helsingborg including 2 (also Rødby) 0.5 h + 1 h, stopping in Denmark for lunch, then in Germany are a little 'code around Lübeck and Hamburg for the return Sunday of a combined road works. Sleep in a campsite Heidenau between Hamburg and Bremen, in what appears to be a German holiday. The caravans have their own little garden, apparently built over time, with lots of dwarves and Snow White, fountains concrete with plastic paper, the huge fiberglass swans etc.. E 'to do so kitsch turismo.587 Km
Monday 07.08.95
Departure at 9 from the campsite to the Netherlands, they are not on petrol, in the end leave in a city full Leer for having threatened to stay dry. To the Customs D-NL in the service stop for lunch and change the currency. Percorcorriamo the great inland sea between the dam and the sea outside, with stops for photos.

From Sweden to Norway

Friday 28.07.95
Today is scheduled to arrive at Lofoten. Departure at 9. The short trip from the campground to the North Sea requires us all morning, for the photo stops along the way: the Alps and the lakes of the national park dell'Abisko are wonderful. We have reached Norway. At lunch in a place near the sea that seems to do a tropical brief stop for lunch. To leave the road to head towards the north to the Lofoten. From here to Å 397 km will have to go to same is that when you return. The road is now narrower and more tortuous, the first the Vesterålen islands are very beautiful. Distributors are approximately 40 Km With bridges, very high for the passage of vessels at sea and curved to reduce the slopes of the ramp, we pass from one island to another until the ferry Melbu-Fiskebøl, 30 minutes, to go to Lofoten. Pending resolution of the ferry and buy postcards of the classic reindeer self. Soon after we stop Svolvær Camp Sanvika.
341 Km

Saturday 29.07.95
Stop camping.
There are lots of fishermen, or rather we are the only tourists. Yes because the only foreigners are Germans who every year go there to make a great fishing. Went out alone with a small boat and returned with the overflowing of herring over one meter after a few hours! We have tried, when a small group, to buy fish but did not want, have them gifts, but wanted to give at least one in the head with a meter! Actually they were 2 meters in height to over 100 kg ...
And my mother began to wipe them with the port structure into the camp, with a lesson on how two strokes bring out only the fillet. To be honest we were advised to eat raw the next morning with lemon for breakfast! You can imagine why we did not follow their advice ... however, the filet was really good.
