Norway, winter through the fjords
Scandinavia to the Arctic Circle, the whole train. A one-month long journey through Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. Up to Rovaniemi, the city of Santa Claus, in the cold of northern Europe.
After crossing, all in one night, Sweden, will arrive in Oslo. On the train know Robert Z., a young Australian with Italian parents, who speaks Italian. Will remain with us for almost the entire trip. In Oslo is cold, and I am including gloves and scarf. It 'a strange city, Oslo, all new because it has caught fire a little' too many times, and a little 'too many times they had rimmeterla standing. There is so much wood, in Oslo, and nice neighborhoods, but do not cherish a particular, I have not seen anything that really struck me. The leave after two days, for us the tour of the fjords. The first stop is Bergen, Trondheim then.
Trondheim A stay in a hostel and a lot of nice guys, we know that an American in Europe in a NATO base, and now is a few days of vacation. It 'definitely big and when we go to Hell, the most beautiful fjord in the area, remains behind. But then we all come together to eat canned foods in the grass, talking in a mixture of Italian and English which makes everyone laugh. After the colorful wooden houses in Trondheim arrive in Narvik, in the far north of Norway.
From Narvik to depart North Cape, by bus. A voyage long and tiring, but fascinating. The cold is more intense, but the memory of that place, and the sea, will not leave us ever. Our adventure in Norway is about to end, viriamo from North Cape to the south, to Sweden.
