TRAVEL DIARY
The journal is the continuation of statoFinlandia
The journey is made with a camper and composed of four people
Sunday 04.08.91
Departure from Camp Kemijärvi the 9th Prime tents and workshops at Lapps Tankawaara input to a region to search for gold. Step at the highest so far encountered, Saariselka 438 m, we stopped for lunch. Herds of reindeer are free and to try to make a picture more faithful to the capobranno me a charge. I climb on the fly with my camper that laughing! From this point changes the landscape for all Finland has been a succession of lakes, forests of conifers and birch trees, now appearing on the horizon the first Norwegian mountains. We meet the first meadows of aerofori (those beautiful flowers that always plush cotton) continue Bisch and reindeer. Shoot a reindeer and a white albino. Soon after we were wrong road, convinced that it was a crossroads in the village, not the fork for Russia take the road to the plateau Russian. We have extended the route of about 150km, but in return we have seen the border with a barbed wire and turrets Russian military. Requested information to a German couple who came from the opposite side. We hoped so, since we were already there, you can do a look ... maybe in Russia in S. Petersburg without visas approved months in advance we would not be able to go (to that of the Germans). This area was the only one who could remember the tundra. To go to Norway we had to drive along the valley of the Tana River, the border between Finland and Norway. This is not to cross the border to the Russian border. The move to Norway is indicated only by a cartel. Campsite just after the border to Karasjiok. Campsites in Norway are less equipped and organized than Finns. and also more expensive.

Departure to the North Cape, still forests and reindeer, but the landscape is much different for the presence of mountains, sea and fjords. At 14.45 we Kåfjord where the harbor to the island on which there is Mageroya North Cape. Fascinating mountain path to reach the North Cape. Here we came to the 17th to enter the yard and use the facilities: bar, cinema, museum souvenirs and monuments. We have time to look at all the horizons and the sea began to rise to the first point cloud that is fog. He began to do cold for an entire day. We have reached the end of our journey, we now expect a return path even more challenging.

Leaving from Nordkapp after lunch at 12.30. alle13.10 us to the port, the shipment is alle13.55. The landscape of Finmark (named after the region) is beautiful. The horizon is very extensive meadows full of flowers lilac or aerofori, snowy mountains and glaciers. 17 to come to Alta.
Wednesday '07.08.91
Visit the museum to High: stone carvings. During the journey began to rain. The route is a succession of steps, fjords, waterfalls and snowfields. Around 19 we stop to Nordkjosbotn. The camp is small and is hard to find a place. Unfortunately continues to rain.

Departure from the camp at 8.30, is actually a stage of transfer, past Narvik is a Morsvikbotn stands. The last part of the trip was among the granite mountains of Giccecokka. Around 16 we stop to Morsvikbotn. E 'in camp early and there is none yet. The camp is on a fjord and river mouths. At low tide, we made a lap on the beach. I did that the passage of the jaguar on the bed of the river to photograph puffins to sea have been attacked by seagulls who probably had a nest nearby: after this holiday I need a more powerful zoom to prevent other animals attack! Later a couple of Germans have camp close to us: for the good morning or good afternoon remains that looking forward, the light is always the same and every time we mixed up and laugh.
Friday 09.08.91
In the morning we start at 9 to go through one of the most beautiful. Stop in a service area to Rognan for lunch. Passed an area of beautiful villas with gardens and yellow flowers. We approach the zone of Rana and the Arctic Circle. Here in the mountains of Svartisen, facing a snowfield is a service to commemorate the crossing of the Arctic Circle with shops, monuments and plaques. There are many buses of elderly Norwegians with toast around the monuments. It comes with a 18 Mosjøen in a great camp.
Saturday 10.08.91
We decide to continue their journey through the islands rather than the coast. Reach the island through Sandnessjøen a beautiful bridge, with subsequent embarkations synchronized switch from one island to another and chat with the crew and other passengers. In fact we are the only tourists, all others are local and go to work and moving for family reasons. Continue Drizzle. On an island we visit a church and, rising on a hill side, we see a monument to a sailor in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the many islands that forward into the ocean. Navigation is good but, on the islands, there is little to see. While we were still to make the purchases we missed the connecting ferry. Pending a new race, 2 hours, we had lunch. In the evening arrival in Steinkjer a great campsite near a large military barracks. In fact, the whole area is the military and could not photograph the landscape.
Sunday 11.08.91
Visiting the city of Trondheim. Bella's Cathedral and the rose window. Around the church the most important tombs of the kings in Norway. Visit street with shops. After lunch departure for Oslo, we cross the Alps, using the main road. A Oppdal we see a very special troll. Shortly after, the alpine meadows, raccolgliamo mushrooms to make them dry. We asked several times to the premises because of non-gathered fungi and their response was really surprising: for them the mushrooms are not material, buy the Champignon French jump and leave the mushrooms in their garden! We look at the supermarket, how many packs of Champignon French on the desks! Along the bed of a river towards the source and then passed it down the hill towards Lillehammer. We stop at Camp Sjoa on the shores of beautiful river Lagen.

Visit the park in Lillehammer Maihaugen. Perhaps the most beautiful museum of the traditions and where to meet my professerossa average. The city is very lively. Visit the market. There will be the Winter Olympics in'94. In the afternoon we arrive in Oslo. The camp is huge and it is on a hill overlooking the city.
Tuesday '13.08.91
Visit to Oslo: the gardens and the shops of the center. The Norsk Folkmuseum and Kunstindustri Mseeti for ceramics. Lunch at the museum. Visit the wooden church of the thirteenth century Gol. Visit the Gamle Aker Kirke, the oldest stone church in Scandinavia.
Wednesday '14.08.91
Departure from Oslo. Where the output from the previous time, had taken the hotel. It was thought to find mushrooms, we have found, is too dry. this area is very urbanized. Continuing our journey towards the south, we visited many stone carvings in Skjeberg. A Tanumshede (Sweden) instead of the menhir, the ship close to a fantastic field of strawberries and the circle in the woods, a stone in the center and 10 outside. Assaggianto impunity after a couple of strawberries trying unsuccessfully to buy a farmer planting strawberries strawberries or at least the same but we do not find anyone at home. Campsite 60 kilometers from Goteborg, on the lake.
(the state continues with Sweden)
