Wroclaw
This beautiful city is located north of Krakow, about 250 km traveled in a slow and tedious train in 5-hour cost of 10 €.
In Poland there are trains Intercity, Eurocity and Interreg. Arrive at the same time, that is slow, but Interregio are less than half because they do not reserve seats and the seats are less comfortable and luxurious. Good place and then there was still enough, the conversation because unfortunately hiding next to me was a stupid Polish engineer with three mobile phones and iPods were all the time to call or write sms or play music without a word squash English.
Here the effect of community college, thankfully gone. This has been without toys for all her youth and now goes wild with these gimmicks.
Fortunately, then came a young man, speaking excellent English and we talked for each other's countries.
Arriving in Wroclaw has accompanied me to a nearby hostel Vanguard I had booked on the internet, great room with a nice shared bathroom down the hall but for 20 €.
After walking miles of Krakow that I had caused blisters on the feet, I have wised up and decided to rent a bike directly from the hostel for only 10 euro per day.
So I began to Silesian the beautiful city, founded and inhabited for centuries by the Germans after the war they left en masse, leaving the city to Poland came from other areas.
Wroclaw, Wroclaw in Poland, which reads very much like VROZUAF Krakow and is equally beautiful and fascinating.
It is considered the Venice of Poland because it passes the Oder and also many canals with bridges, especially in the northern part of the great University and the Cathedral surrounded by so many churches, monasteries and convents.
Wroclaw has more churches of Krakow, in my opinion too many and not all beautiful and majestic.
Wroclaw is a young city, because the university, so full of pubs, restaurants and nightclubs.
His Rynek, which is the central market square is slightly smaller than that of Krakow and beautiful as this. Here, too breathtaking facade with stately buildings, especially the town hall at the base of the basement is the most famous local brewery, the SPIC, which spend the last and memorable evening that will tell you later.
The bicycle allowed me to quickly see all the attractions of the city:
- Japanese botanical garden in a beautiful park near the zoo with me to boycott forever because I do not want to give my contribution to those who keep animals in prison with no fault of their own
- Use the forums for shows and concerts, with a beautiful fountain and a nice park
- The University area with imposing classical buildings, statues and various campus outdoor sports facilities that we dream them to us
- That is a huge painting PANORAMA 360 ° 3D special effects created more than 100 years ago by a Polish artist who represented the heroic battle but lost Raclawicka Poles against the Russian invaders and still took a symbol of redemption and dignity of the Polish people in their struggle for independence.
This painting after many vicissitudes has finally landed in a decent home, a beautiful modern circular building in a park near a major national museum which I have not been able to visit due to the closure on Monday that is observed here.
I spent an enjoyable evening in a small square next to the Rynek where the usual brewing company, this time the TYZIE, had organized a rock concert with groups of young people, followed by 80s music made by a sympathetic local disc jockey.
I bought a pair of sandals to be cooler at my feet and relieve suffering. Cost me less than 30 € and then I found that Italians were imported, otherwise I could spend 7-8 € for Polish products that I later found in a flea market a few days later to purchase already!

I spent my last evening, as I said, the brewery SPIC, made of wood decorated with lots of digital screens on all the walls in what was scheduled semi-final football Uruguay-Holland.
At my table was a pair of Spanish in Bilbao where she works in Wroclaw, he came to visit her and drank a beer after the other, drunk as she listened to her frantic ravings. Fortunately, they left early and then came six forty Polish gay that I was not very funny because while I went to order a beer at the bar I had been cheated by the place my hat disappear.
I am made to feel for their gesture and I pretended that I had taken the place but it has been a bit of tension until I got a beautiful Polish blonde very sexy her, we exchanged looks of great understanding and I was already considering winning when he got his man grappling with the beers. And 'round hole, but these parties arrived two crazy my peers, meaning that it is all a matter of generations, the '68 or below.
They were all dressed in black with tattoos on his shoulders abbrozantissime, hats and a lot of blacks strange series of dubious taste.
Of course we made friends right away, 'we dropped the football game and we enjoyed a beer and the other, laughing like crazy and talking in German and occasionally pick out of my school memories, and that never ceases to amaze me how to speak it well when they are a bit 'as a pacifier in the evening.
The next morning back to Krakow for Polish Day on the last day before leaving for Berlin.
