Yet even in this Europe trip this time precisely Portugal Lisbon, Cascais and Sintra. We booked all over the internet via Expedia was the first time but I must say that everything was perfect.
Lisbon is a beautiful city, full of young people from all over the world, as cheerful and rowdy but they must be. Some beautiful buildings that should be a little dilapidated ristruttutati. Very beautiful are the streets in the center decorated with mosaics. Well served by public transport, taxis are not expensive and the least that there freghino as we did with the taxi driver who took us from the airport to the hotel, 20 €. When we shared a taxi with another around much longer than 10 €, eyes on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are also aware of pickpockets, unsuspecting people dressed well, but at the first opportunity they taking out of your (my sigh) pocket (minus 150 euro). Fortunately, I do not know how, three hours after police found his wallet with all documents. If you have not flown easyjet and a document for travel abroad (because the years cheated with their wallets) do not make you leave, then you have to go to the embassy for a provisional document, when you find the embassy open. Cascais is a town in the ocean very nice and clean, hence we went with a coach in Sintra, this beautiful but needs some more time to visit all calmly. In return we went to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe.
Pointing you to a local doc to really eat, the more expensive but we knew that we tested, is called LISBOA noite and is in the neighborhood of Bairro. DAS 69 Rua Alto GAVEAS worth a visit. More typical are the local pubs but it is really good (do not look around) the price and really low and really good food.
Elevadores are comfortable that you bring up without difficulty, because Lisbon is on seven hills and the streets roll up hill. A word of advice do not do the Lisboa Card is not needed, but let the paper Collinas 7 with 3, 75 € per day to recharge and turn on all media. I forgot the hotel we were assigned to the Principe Real in the Barrio Alto. We were lucky, we have reserved two suites without asking for anything. Excellent hotel with breakfast super. Until next time and good luck.
