Lisboa
At nine o'clock in the morning local time we set foot in the old Europe, and without wasting time we proceed directly to the luggage store to leave our backpacks and head to discover
Lisbon. Took a shuttle bus in about twenty minutes we arrived in the city center and precisely Rossio. We were greeted by an incredibly deserted town with bars and shops still closed and totally devoid of cars and people. The time available to us just as it was at four in the afternoon it started our flight, we began the exploration of the lower town up to Praça do Commercio before recovering to walk through the steep streets of porphyry tiled towards the Sé Catedral and then climb into one of the highest points of the city: Castelo de São Jorge. From here it was possible to admire the entire downtown a wonderful web of majestic buildings, all beautifully maintained. We were in the gardens of the castle to contemplate the landscape and then head to a nearby bar and lunch. We were dead tired because in the air as usual we had not slept even complicit "anxiety from returning." Nevertheless we had another goal: the district of Belem, where it was possible to admire the imposing tower, the museum of the Navy and especially the Jeronimos Monastery in the beautiful square in front of the it. The time available to us was just finished, and so returned by bus to Praça da Figueira we got into a taxi that took us back to the airport. Sixteen and zero to five, we embarked on to Frankfurt, stop to get to the Marco Polo of Venice. In late evening we landed in our Beautiful country still not convinced and disbelief that things were now finished, we were just started from there exactly 367 days before but it seemed to us yesterday. Accepted by our families in tears, we have retrieved your luggage and instead of the usual hotel this time we expect our house: Sadness!
