Lisbon

We leave the campsite on foot for a tour of Lisbon by bus.
Visit the Carriage Museum, the Tower of Balemi, discoprimiento of the Monument, the Cathedral, the Castle of Sao Jorge, the Placa de Commerce and other places of the city iteresse. The sun is really strong and the fountains are assaulted not only by tourists.

- The Cathedral, Sé Patriarchal, is the oldest church in Lisbon is in the Romanesque style and gives it the appearance of a fortress. In the church you can see the baptismal font of St. Anthony of Padua, the baroque crib Joaquim Machado do Castro, some sarcophagi and the Gothic cloister with two floors.

- Castel de Sao Jorge, the city lies on seven hills (Estrela, Santa Catarina, São Pedro de Alcantara, Sao Jorge, Graca, Senhora do Monte and Penha de Franca), and the valleys of the river Tagus in the lagoon. On top of each of these hills there is a lookout, or in the case of São Jorge, a castle which was built by the Moors as a refuge and later expanded and converted into a residence by King Christian. From here you can enjoy a splendid view over the city. From above we see linear geometry that characterizes the neighborhood of the Baixa, the core of urban undertaken after the earthquake of 1755 that destroyed the old quarters of Lisbon

- The steep streets to the west of Baixa Chiado lead to an elegant neighborhood where you can find elegant boutiques and decorative Art Nouveau style. From here you can reach the Barrio Alto, a neighborhood crowded with narrow streets and small alleys where we focus a good part of night life.

- The Praça do Comercio, a main entrance of the city for those who came from the sea, overlooking the river and was the starting point for the construction of the district of Baixa.

On the north side of Praça do Comercio open two more squares: Praça Dom Pedro IV, commonly called Rossio and Praça de Figueira. From these places start with the two main arteries of the city: Avenida da Liberdade, a beautiful tree-lined street, and Avenida Almirante Reis, the road from Praça da Figueira airport. These two avenues are bordered by beautiful buildings in Liberty style with sidewalks and paved with a mosaic.

- A special feature of the Lisbon azulejos, painted tiles, are used with imagination and originality, as in the famous Cervejaria da Trindade.
