A small town at the foot of the Sierra with the same name several extraordinary buildings and strange at the same time: Paço Real characterized by its two huge chimneys, the castle built in Mouros do 'eighth century by the Arabs and which were only walls and Palacio Nacional da Pena, a mixture of styles that reminds a little of the castle of Ludwig Fate in Bavaria.
If you have foot problems, use the taxi and then the shuttle; throughout Portugal pathways may agree with the taxi drivers (such as guided tours) and the prices are very modest!
