Crisana
Località:
Oradea, AradRegione: Crisana

This region is the gateway for most Europeans who come to Romania by land. Crisan was the long-Hungarian domination and architecture of the two main cities, Arad and Oradea, is deeply Habsburg. Both have beautiful aristocratic palaces, public parks and wide boulevards. Much of the native Hungarian population and some villages of the surroundings are totally Hungary. I have passed many times in Oradea after having crossed the nearby border with Hungary to Episcopia but never go into a thorough visit. Rarely entering from the border to the south of Nadlac I moved to the smallest Arad, an elegant city of noble buildings that in recent years have been restored. For the rest Crisan has many small hills and plains intensively cultivated, through rural villages disappeared from the great lines of communication that are not highways but are similar to our province. The first few times that I route these places the roads were uneven, large "chasms" sull'asfalto opened without being reported and little vehicular traffic was slowed by herds of cattle which was returning from pasture. In recent years, the road conditions have improved significantly but also increased traffic especially heavy because the port is Crisan of Romania addressed to the West. Certainly does not deserve to face a trip to come here but I happen to spend if you reach other regions of this country.
